Dust Cover for Soroban

I like to make my own dust covers for all of my soroban. It's very simple. I use a scrap piece of cloth that I cut into a large square. Then I fold it in half to form a triangle.

Then I simply wrap the soroban up into the cloth. The result is a neat little envelope (photos 2 & 3) that protects the soroban from damage when I carry it with me and from dust and sunlight when I store it on a shelf.

Here is a photo of two, more elaborate covers. My wife made them for me several years ago as a Christmas present. I like the way she was able to incorporate a way to tie each cover closed in a slightly different way.
