character entities

for Windows95

Please use only #32 to #126 and a fixed width font when drawing ASCII-art. (#32 is the spacebar.)

In your html coding, replace the character with &#numberofcharacter; (ampersand, hashmark, numberofcharacter, semicolon) so instead of &, you would type &. You should be replacing all &,<,> (ampersand, lessthansymbol, greaterthansymbol) in your html coding.

Courier,FixedSys and Monaco are non-proportional or fixed width fonts and are used for drawing ASCII-art. Times New Roman and Symbol are proportional width fonts and are not used for drawing ASCII-art.

WARNING!! You will only see the fonts that you have on your computer. If you do not have the fonts "Courier", "FixedSys", "Monaco", "TimesRoman" and "Symbol" on your computer, whatever font(s) you don't have will appear as your default font. For instance, I do not have "Monaco" so the chart is showing "TimesRoman" on my computer. And who knows? Maybe to read the chart at all, you have to be running Windows95 too....
